Greetings ,
Can someone tell what valve is called that will release the service brakes on a lift axle when the axle is lifted. Peeling tires now skidding tires before tires get proper clearance. Also would anyone have the valve number .
Thanks Muff

Maybe the brake are adjusted too tight?
-
no the adjustment is fine . There is a valve out there for this application . Service brakes on the down side , soon as the switch is flipped to up position the service brakes no longer apply which avoids skidding the tires . Thanks

Yeah. we have drop axles right behind the steer and we've never had this kind of issue. It's all set up to operate in auto. The only problem we did have is the valve did not work when you put the truck in reverse and the driver broke the axle were it could not be used. Sorry could help.
