Ryder has two types of trucks, rentals and leases. Rentals being the trucks that are white with Ryder decals, and leases being the trucks that have customer names on the sides and are turned in after the lease ends. Ryder does routine maintenance and fixes things when they break.

But the dilema here is who drove the truck before hand and what will you get? I wouldn't worry about a dyno. The bottom line the price is a bit steep. Keep looking, go outside North Carolina if you have to.

Thank for your input. First of all, did you purchased their warranty? And didn't they give you the all the maintenance record?

No I didn't get warranty by the time I thought of it, it was already past the 3 days after delivery of vehicle so I couldn't get the warranty. If your mind is set on getting from them make sure you purchase the warranty right away before moving that vehicle from there, they have a way to avoid you from getting warranty. They don't tell you about it but it is among one of the paper work they send you. It basically says to sign if you do not want the Ryder Road Plus warranty.

It cost about $4k. I have all the maintenance records, it recently went through inspection in May of this year. I also pulled rig dig which reported no accidents on it. The truck was previously used by 1 owner it say who is Dominos. But I found out all that don't me nothing, you might get lucky and get a good truck.

    Good luck.

ANY 7 yr. old truck with 750K on the odometer is a crap shoot. That's why most companies turn them at 500K, they're still salable and it's before the big expenses start happening, usually. Maybe you'd prefer to buy an ex- Werner truck that has had boo-coo drivers and students learning on it.

Well the dominos truck was team drivin and slip seated, so none for the drivers really cared about it they just jumped curbs and delivered pizzas, that may be one reason you had some many problems, especially with the clutch and transmissio.

70k for a 2009 Columbia is too much! That sounds like one of those places that will finance anyone and over inflate the cost of the truck. A 2009 Columbia goes for 40k or less. NOT 70k, that's highway robbery. You're a sucker if you buy one at that price.

Do not buy this truck period! Never again in your life think about purchasing a prior D.W.M. rental. This mistake could cost you years of catching up.
