Location for the night

i hope everything is alright

 

So far, so good. Shaken up, bruised, and scared, but otherwise okay. Talked to her a bit ago, she was taking the baby to the hotel pool...oh the resiliency of 2 year olds!! The car is totalled. Every air bag deployed, 2009 Caliber with 85000 miles - I will be very shocked if the estimate comes in at much less than 5 figures. Car's not worth 7k, I don't think. Fortunately, she got gap insurance when she bought the car so she won't have to come up with any difference. (Says I told her to get gap...Imma take her word for it, since I don't remember.) She got the car on Black Friday, almost 8 months ago. At least she'll be in Texas, where she can hopefully find a decent inexpensive replacement.

My delivery tomorrow is less than 500 miles from FW...hopefully my DBL can get me there on Saturday. He's good, so probably

 

Where was the accident at?

 

Just north of Little Rock.

 

Good to know everything is okay. I don't know hhe used car market in Texas but at least anything she gets won't have experienced the last couple of Midwest winters.

 

I'm in Little Rock. I'm glad to hear she and the Little one are OK.

 

They were on 67/167, just north of exit 42, southbound...around Searcy. Couple of guys saw & stopped, so there was someone coherent for me to talk to. My mom showed up about 0130; they just called to say they have been by the wrecker service's yard and cleaned out the car and are on their way back to FW.

If I'd known you were that close, I might have prevailed on you to check on them

Glad to hear that the family is OK, Mickimause. I am hiding in Flint, Mi. until midnight, when I gain some hours back. Hate running recap.
