281.8 today. Dropped in Mechanicsburg early. Then headed over to New Kingstown terminal. Was given a preplan to grab a preloaded off the yard but of course it wasn't there. A couple hours later they had me hook back to my MT which miraculously was still there. Sent me to York and grabbed a preloaded there headed to Jonesville, SC. Made it to the Love's at Toms Brook, Virginia. Pick up just enough hrs tomorrow to make it down there but qualcomm says 08:00 Monday. So I'll stage close if they won't take it.

Well between the live offload yesterday morning (5 hrs) at US Foods in Port Orange, Florida and my (ready-to-go) drop and hook at Georgia Pacific in Palatka that WAS NOT ready-to-go, I managed only 59.9 paid miles yesterday. Got to GP at around noon yesterday and that Ready-to-go load was Finally Ready-to-go @ 06:00 Today. Dropped in McDonough, Georgia this afternoon and now I sit at General Mills in Social Circle, Georgia waiting for this Ready-to-go drop and hook to actually be Ready-to-go. I'd wager that it will not be Ready-to-go within these last 2 hrs of my 14.

I would have lost the wager. I got the load and made it to the J in Jackson, Georgia with 1 minute left on my 14. Deliver in Arcadia, Florida tomorrow and then deadhead home to start home time. 420.3 today. I plan to head back out Monday morning.

Haven't been motivated to post lately. If things don't return to a standard at least close to what I experienced before, I will probably not put the effort into continuing the thread.

Time to update. 1st tour out went very poorly. 2nd tour out went ok.

1st tour: 8861 total paid miles; 21 days out; 17 loads; 521.23 average dispatch length; 421.95 average paid miles per day @ 43cpm.

2nd tour: 8924 total paid miles; 20 days out; 12 loads; 743.66 average dispatch length; 446.20 average paid miles per day @ 43cpm.

Totals since returning: 17785 total paid miles; 41 days out; 29 loads; 613.27 average dispatch length; 433.78 average paid miles per day @ 43cpm.

My original 11 months totals before returning: 125,930 total paid miles; 287 days out; 185 loads; 680.70 average dispatch length; 438.78 average paid miles per day @ 39cpm.

While the Overall averages are still down a bit, atleast they trended upward this 2nd tour. Hoping the upward trend continues.

Averaging 438 miles per day out is good for what it is, I can't average quite that much on the Shaffer side due to all these set appointment times for delivery.
So much on the dry side at Crete is drop and hook from what I've seem and heard
