1. Not governed less than 70..75 preferable! Less than speed limit is STEALING from the driver!
2.Apu..or invertors no size restrictions..a driver has to live on road..take this away from them you might as well live without electricity in your home..it is what your expecting of your driver!
3.Fridge or allowing of a fridge..it cost about 300 a wk to eat and drink on that road without one!
4.Not less than 40cpm!
5.Lots of west coast and 4 corners area runs! Love that area..
6. VOLVO 780s Cadillac Rigs..no smoother on the road..
7. 2500 to 3000 miles per week no ########..
8.Don't steal from me..as a company be fair with me and I will live on that road as I have no family and no friends and I have no need for either!
Anybody know of a company like this?

Companies limit speed to save on fuel They arn't stealing from you. You know what your getting into when you sign on. If they allow faster trucks they will have to pay you less per mile since you burn more fuel per mile. If anything your stealing fro them by going fast.
Some have apu's, but saying no inverter size restriction is ridicules. With 1500 watts you can run a microwave and fridge, Much larger then that and you will beed to keep firing up the motor or apu to power it. Also if improperly installed, a large inverter can be a bigger fire hazard. Just look for companies with apus...although many of them pay less.
Almost all allow you to buy a 100 dollar 12 volt cigerte lighter fridge.
For van? You could find it, but theirs not any...even less that pay that with an apu and no speed limiter.
Lots of companies run west coast
Volvos are expencive to maintain although they are nice, Again, the companies running the normally pay less. Swift runs then and they pay horibly
Thats doable as long as you dont sign onto a bottom feeder.
Companies dont steel from drivers unless they forget to pay you. You can walk away anytime and limiting your truck speed is not stealing. Read your employment contract to find what you will and wont be responsible for.LoneCowboy Thanks this. -
For every 5mph lost due to truck governed speed u make driver lose ability to run 400 mi..and when u govern a truck you lessen its efficiency. .I had a talk with two of freightliners head engineers..a truck is far more efficient not governed..my cascadia I owned pulled 6.2 at 64..and 6.2 at 72..so dont give me that lie..its all about slowing drivers to limit speeding tickets and managing csa scores..controlling drivers to cut cost due to a corrupt government that makes laws to steal from the people!

Tankers would meet most of that

Governors do not save fuel. Most trucks are engineered to do between 115 km/ph and 120 km/ph upon American Hwys. (For best fuel economy). Governors are about speeding tickets and reduced insurance rates. Restricting the motors optimal range (rpm output) will do damage to it in the long run.
When you first start a lawnmower does it 'putt-putt' and burn more fuel or maybe even flood before it begins to run smoothly. When you turn your 'Freightliner Lawnmower' on first thing in the morning how does it sound and what do you do about it. You put on the cruse or choke and raise the Rpm's.Last edited: Jul 26, 2014

Clearly you dont keep good track of your mpg. Compare a yearly average of both speeds and driving 64 gets about 1mpg better. That 10-15k a year in fuel. In a 6 day week you have 66 driving hours. Thats 330 miles a week, not 400 (for mph). You would run out on your 70 if you ran more hours then that. Thats also assuming you drive top speed all the time and never hit traffic,. FI you owned a cascadia, why are you looking to be a company driver now? Your ignorance on mpg and fuel cost leads me to believe you couln't make the business work. If thats the case, you cant fault other that do run thier business right for limiting your truck.blairandgretchen and double yellow Thank this.

Governors do not save fuel but a smart driver who doesn't over rev his engine and drives slower can save fuel that where companies need to look a good fuel bonus program will save them more money in fuel than a governed truck

Awesome a personal attack on my intelligence. .another sign of an ego based mentality..for our audiences info..me and my ex ran team payed it off sold it took a vacation for 4 months..but my Mpg was computer generated by the company I was running with...in response to your sly personal attack..I am sure your need for superiority in your statements is just a subconscious need to fill the sense of weakness u feel inside..
