Thats 338,000 miles. If your gross was 500k, then you made an average of 1,47/mile. Thats not great, but its not horrible either. If you only make 1,47 a mile you really need to reduce cost to stay in business. This includes not running 75 mph.gheor and blairandgretchen Thank this.

on another post you say you gross 500. now you say 370g. Thats a big difference. Only grossing 370g for the amount of miles you ran is what put you out of business. If you only grossed 370g, then thats only 1.09/mile. If you only made 1,09/mile you really cant stay in business. Even if you had mortgage troubles, if the truck was making you money, you should have been able to pay your mortgage.

Thanks Richter but truck grossed 370 gs mortgage company grossed 130gs and when we sold truck took a vacation..I lost her an poured myself into a bottle..then lost the mortgage company and my will to live..now I have to rebuild from nothing..with no credit and no money..and i am homeless..but I have a clean record and good job history. .so who else wants to look for reasons to belittle me..or make some ego based statement to my lessened mental state or level of intellectual prowess. .

Your words. Not ours. Seems to remember some posts from you stating you like to get high and to boycott companies that do a hair follicle. Whatever. Good luck with your "career".blairandgretchen Thanks this.

And yet again someone putting words in my mouth..adding to something that was not expressed..ok tired of this place it serves no purpose but to further add contempt to an already poisoned view of the human race..

You wanted help. You're getting it. I'm not going to paint you a picture of pretty flowers and sunsets. That ain't life kid. You just set out a list of demands for a company that aren't going to happen. Going back to your old posts, that helped me to see who you are. Your words, once again. You've got two years out here and a chip on your shoulder and lost it all (your words). Maybe it's time to stop being a diva and get trucking, and either earn your way to what you want or do it yourself. 2 years, bad attitude, not good bedfellows. Learn how to work, and earn it.blairandgretchen, full speed and Richter Thank this.

I agree although I think every driver is entitled to receive what he earned as far as pay is concerned. I've always said I don't come an work free, I;d rather be at home or something.

I agree with most of this, except it has not been my experience that increasing the rpms and driving slower together would increase fuel mileage, I have found that running 50 to 55 in the top hole keeping my rpms between 1200 to 1400 has resulted in the best mileage.
Also the new designed engines are above the torque and the hp curves at 2100 rpms. It will vary on engine designs, but most have topped on hp and torque by 1600.
Just what I have found, me personally when I get north of vegas step aside Im coming thru, fuel mileage be dammed its time to roll.
