I filled out an application on their website about 10 days ago. Nobody has called or emailed.

Just wondering if this is normal wait time or if I should move on?

Chances are that Prime gets anywhere from HUNDREDS to THOUSANDS of applications looking for either training, employment, or both.

Prime probably needs more people to go through and process the applications.

I should do that. I was thinking it would be best to contact a specific recruiter that other applicants have found to be good. Anyone have a good one

In my opinion all recruiters are the same. All they do is process your info and get you set up for orientation. I would just call. They will pull your application up in the system. Sometimes you have to make things happen. Good Luck to you.

I would call Prime first thing in the morning.Ten days seems abit too long. They could at least call you and tell you they're working on your application. Is there any marks on your MVR that would cause Prime to turn you down?

My MVR is clean. I had it checked personally. My only issue is that I got laid off 6 months ago from my office job. Maybe they don't like that gap in my employment history?

For new hires with no cdl they are backed up processing applications. I know a couple people who it took a couple weeks before they got a response and then there date to start school was 3 weeks out.

Also, if you start calling that recruiting number a couple times a day until you get someone it will help. They really do look at how aggressively you pursue them.
