Well, I don't have an issue with that have more than 2-3 weeks of logs on the truck all the time, just tell them you scan them in. Be sure to either have some sort of way to scan on your truck or keep the trip pak scan receipt with you.

I can honestly say I haven't been in a scale house or inspection station in a little more than half a year, and it feels pretty good. I have noticed the Ministry of Transportation frequenting the 407 as of late. Pretty sure they just pick out a truck from the highway and pull it over for a quick check of the paperwork, but I know they also have portable scales as well, so until I get first hand knowledge I'd just be assuming.

Scariest time of my life was having to cross dock at the MTO inspection station in Lancaster, ON. It's on the EB side of the 401 just as you cross from Quebec to Ontario. It's open probably 50% of the time you're rolling past. Driver went over his 14 and one of his brake chambers was defective so they put him OOS. I was tasked with rolling into the station, cross docking with him and continuing on with the load. The entire time I'm surrounded by officers doing inspections on other trucks and I felt them burning holes right through me with their stares. Luckily nothing happened but my anxiety level was a little raised while I was there, lol.

This sounds like it is easier said than done.
    1) How do you get loads delivered that are earmarked for these particular "communist" states?
    2) Also, how do you get loads delivered to states that require you to drive through the "communist" states?

I PERSONALLY feel that a truck driver should have the right to possess firearms in all 50 states. It is their lives on the line, in various situations.

If I were a truck driver, I would NOT possess a firearm inside the truck. I would PERSONALLY be more afraid of being arrested for possession by various state authorities, than being in a dangerous situation in a crime infested neighborhood.

I realize that this may sound ridiculous or outright stupid to some people reading this.

Agree on the rest...It's like Russian Roulette when they're looking, just don't give them a reason to give you a 2nd look, more often than not you'll breeze thru...When you get pulled in, attitude, attitude, attitude...Regardless of how wrong or prickish they are, take it on the chin until you're out of there, don't give more reasons to look harder...JMHO...

I doubt that Driver. I just make sure I include a $400 QC "toll" when I bid the load.

They've let me do that several times at that scale. Used to load up in Roanoke and had to run over the state scales to get to the CAT scale at the next exit. They were pleasant every time I dealt with them.
