You'll find a lot of erroneous data on the Garmins. That is the major gripe I have with them. They were real good about putting all the known restrictions and bridge heights in (with MANY data entry typos) when they were designing their first trucker GPS years ago ... problem is, they never followed through and kept it all updated as things changed. You need to look at every new route on the map to see if it makes sense. Otherwise it may run you in circles for no reason and you'll figure it out the hard way.

Writing to Garmin ... you may as well be writing to the man on the moon. That said, I still prefer Garmin trucker over Rand McNally trucker.

thank goodness for copilot. 3 1/2 years and not one complaint.

no charging issues, no wrong streets, no freeze ups, no updates other then when i download for whatever reason.

the darn thing just works. and it's only half the price.

alk makes copilot. and you buy it for your phone, tablet, or computer. and download it.

they used to make hand units but apparently got out of that business.
