deleted sorry confused you chris with OP

I Understand that I messed up. When I got the ticket, I did not have my CDL or plan on getting my CDL. things changed since then, now i am much more careful about my driving. But everyone makes mistakes, im sure you have done some stupid things in your life
-
How long was this ticket before you got your CDL?
-
3 Months before
-
I doubt any decent company will hire you. Most companies will fire a driver who gets a ticket for 15 over.
joseph1135 and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
Wow. Did you get it pled down? 15+ is considered reckless driving. Hence why most times you're unhirable for a few years. Here is another question. Was the ticket paid already? Because if it wasn't, and you do pay it later and it goes on your license, when it's taken care of (in PA anyway) it's considered time of conviction.
-
No, just like the op, I was stupid and paid the ticket. I paid it right away. It was on my record and I was honest about it with all the companies I applied for. Like i said earlier, some companies rejected me, but i found the smaller companies to be more forgiving and luckily i found a good job. I might be wrong, but i think it is because i didnt have my cdl at the time of conviction. In IL in a car its not wreckless til 20 over
