Places you just hate to go to

I have bad memories of Federal Mogul in Chicago. I had to back down a narrow alley, around a corner, through stacks of pallets and past a dumpster to get to a tiny little dock at the back of the building. After this near half-hour ordeal, THEN I'm told the idiot who told me to go all the way back there never looked at the pick up number. The ####### load was stacked less than 10 feet behind him at the incredibly roomy easily accessed dock at the opposite side of the building.

I have never had a good experience at a WalMart either. I think that's because my truck doesn't say WalMart, so there are no consequences for being nasty/stupid/lazy/incompetent with a driver.

Duke, OK. Taking off the yard tarps and leaving the plastic on underneath, it's always windy, and retarping all for half tarp pay. You can't climb on anything so you drag the trailer over to the Prime yard and go back again to drop off the yard tarps.

Gypsum, CO isn't as bad but it's still an insult. you get half tarp pay because they tarp and strap the load for you. All the straps are put in the winches improperly so you could get a ticket or loose a strap at best. You spend more time fixing what they did than it would take you to do it all yourself.

 

There's a PPG holding company in Denver Colorado. 70 ft between two buildings and with my lw still.had trouble getting into the dock square. Had a picture of. The back job but sd card in my phone crashed. Took about a solid 45 minutes to get it close enough to where they could offld.

 

Just about every Dollar Tree store I ever went to and that's a bunch.

 

cant remember name but its a meat packing place in baltimore, md. its a house that they made a business. have to go wrong way down 1-way st and go down a streets trucks not allowed, then back in a space barely big enough for the truck between the house and a fence, oh and don't cut corner too sharp there's a telephone pole there

Hi Easy, I agree, meat packing places are pretty gross, but a major meat packing outfit, Cargill in Milwaukee, just closed the doors( with no notice to their workers) and 600 people are without jobs now. I just feel bad for all those people, not to mention all the truckers that went in and out of there.

 

Gee, 8 hour wait? Split break in the sleeper and you wouldn't have been out if hours. Work smart. Make that log work for you
