Got hired on have not started but the particular position I got is pay by the load 80-145 two loads a day... But they do have other positions that I think are hourly but not 100% but waiting on my drug test so I can go to orientation

Class A trap driver is the position that is advertised in my area. I imagine that would be hourly with multiple stops. I will give them a call tomorrow for more details.

Is your position home daily with weekends off?

    paparazi257 Thanks this.

After a short conversation, hourly starts at $17.50 plus a chance for bonus after 8 weeks. Only local CDL A position open is 3rd shift unfortunately. They do have some Class B positions open for day shift starting at $16.50/hr. Drivers are getting around 50 hours a week.

Maybe get my foot in the door and wait for a better CDL A position to open up. Not sure yet??

Trapping and jetting lines isn't part of my position since I will be hauling from a processing plant pretty much a dedicated run but 10 hour days 50 hrs a week compared to 70 hrs legal 14 hrs a day making a little less than otr but it's seems to be consistent works for me plus I will get tanker experience so all else fail get the experience get my hazmat and get a local gas hauling job. Also I'm in the Carolinas winters aren't as brutal as PA
