Happened to a buddy of mine in Fontana. INS took care of him promptly and SNI paid him his weekly average cause it was company to IC. Sorry I don't have more details.

    Helowrenchturn2 Thanks this.

I am sure they will bend over to get you repaired and settled quickly to put the matter to rest, as you (as an IC) are no different than if their truck hit a 4-wheeler.

    Helowrenchturn2 Thanks this.

I was figuring this was the case but have gotten a little concerned as this happened Thursday morning and as of fri eve they had yet to assign the claim to an adjuster. Just hoping they aren't trying to drag their feet

Well, I believe SNI is self-insured so they most likely have an internal claims rep up in Green Bay, WI that will review and process the claim once it hits his/her desk. If I did not hear anything by Monday mid-morning - mid-day I would be calling to see who is handling the claim and contact them directly to verify the claim has been started. Another option is to get your insurance company involved, and they can start the claim and collect from SNI, but will figure your deductible and only reimburse you that deductible once collected from SNI so I would start with SNI and give them an opportunity. I was in the car finance business for over 15-years and handled too many insurance claims with clients and on repossessed property. Sometimes a little patience pays off. Hope you were not injured?

The more of these types of stories I read the more apprehensive I become about parking in truck stops.
