Lmao! Always glad someone else can be blunt...

In my OWN experience I have never been asked for proof I graduated H.S. geez I don't know what I would even show if I did since it is prob buried back home. Up to you but employers in general like to see that someone graduated, at least on app. Man this is common sense you do what you think is best for you period. I do ask for advice but I take my own decisions for myself, cuz I pave my own way, no one does it for meLast edited: Aug 4, 2014

If you are in your early 20's the HS diploma or GED may be more important because school is the bulk of your experience. If you are in your 30's or 40's, your work experience should be more relevant then a HS diploma.
As has been pointed out, a GED can be obtained in a day. --Easier then your CDL. It is not much more then a piece of paper. Yes, all things being equal, at some point you may be up against another job applicant who does have a diploma and they land the job... not you.
I don't have a diploma. I have never lied about that fact, and have landed more then one job that actually listed a diploma as a requirement for employment. Go figure.steven73 Thanks this.
