Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

And I thought I was the only one that did that..haha

 

I did it yesterday here at the Indy yard! O/O in one of Crete's old Century class units was next to me. He had a Chow with him, but I never heard a peep out of the dog. But he was idling the entire time for the dogs sake, then just kept idling when he himself returned to the truck. I just elected to move to be safe. But I've done the truckstop shuffle as well!

 

moneys useless, but Monday should be a good day to buy back in the stock market. Now I have to look up that pharmaceutical company that is going to skyrocket.

I always try to protect my driver's side by parking next to someone or finding an end spot. That way if they have one of them rattle boxes (APUs) they're not right next to me. But if someone parks next to me with a noise maker and there's open spots I will move. The way I figure it is even if I move there's a 50/50 chance of someone without a noise maker parking next to me. Best thing is to park in between two Cretens! (sometimes backwards just for added comfort)

Money's only useless if you don't use it.

I do not drive for Crete but,I do follow this thread.

I parked at a truck stop in Jackson,Ohio a few weeks ago. I pull a reefer and the lot at the truck stop was about 1/2 full.

I parked where I was at least 5 spots or more from the nearest truck. It was the emptiest part of the lot.

I was sitting in my truck and a guy walks up to my truck. I thought he was going to try to sell me something. But, instead he wanted to
thank me for not parking next to him or others with my reefer.

 

I'm on one of those insane trips at the moment. Meridian MS to Tolleson AZ, picked up Friday night, delivers tomorrow morning. Lightweight and taking me towards the house. I'd love it if it wasn't for the fact that I had a cushion of maybe 3 hours for the entire trip. Sitting here in Benson 180 miles out and out of hours till the a.m.
