I didn't get a chance to get my 2 cents on the DC thing the thing CO. drivers don't think about is the O/O's paved the way to there jobs

I started out 33 years ago O/O with a friend pulling trailers for Western Express and the only thing you hated was that old Cab Over as the trucks of today were only a dream.:biggrin_25524:

CO. drivers stand behind the O/O's as best you can there your

Thank you for the raw footage link.

I will share what video Burn Beans shares with me when he gets home. He arrived in Harrisonburg just in time to make the drive to D C and walked to the capital building with the group. At 430 he called me as he left the RFK parking lot. None of his video will be available untill after he gets home to Kentucky. I enjoy private video much better than edited news video.

    Thanks again!

Wish we all could have been there for that!! You know Melva's big ole Buick Wagon would have been in the middle LOADED with the whole family and decked out for the occasion!

Where are the US Gov't reps ????

The majority of us O/O's do not want any Gov't intervention in regards to business side. Safety is another story though... If cannot run my trucks as a business and make money, then whose fault is that ???? Mine !!!

I do not need nor want the Gov't interfering in my business and those that do should not be in business at all.

I know at least one of my Senators Jeff Sessions went to have a meeting with them.

I also believe that the efforts you see in the hearings held yesterday about broker fees etc resulted in extra effort by the congressional people involved in RESPONSE to the public support shown to the truckers. The effort made by those truckers to call attention to the problem was not wasted.
The problem did not develop over night, nor will it be overcome over night!
