Just apply for a new license where you are at in ny...then once you get that drive truck to pa and switch license back to pa. Would be easiest and quickest

Yeah, easy. Just have to prove residency etc........Minor detail.
Then lets not forget having to take an actual test, instead of just a renewal. Which knowing NY would probably entail getting a provisional, then having to take an actual driving test, all while having an expired license.

I'm in Afghanistan and Minnesota sent me all that I needed to renew my CDL through mail. Some states work differently. I just wouldn't get a hard copy or my hazmat till I got back.

Idk, was just a thought I was in Utah a few years back and another driver was in there from out of state with expired license, and that is what dot made him do. But his was expired because his hazmat expired not license so therefore voided the license. (This was just shortly after the new rules for hazmat). And because Oregon does 8 years I dropped my hazmat because I didn't want to hassle with renewing every 2 years vs 8.

I tried to renew my Tennessee CDL online, and was told in Tennessee have to be there in person for CDL renewal. I'm a Nevada resident now, so next time in Nevada.

So did u get it done ? I have heard , Some states have a "15" or 30 day grace period but never wanted to find out , hope you get this straitened out, I am surprised that your company waited until after you were expired to tell u , seems like they would have a system about 90 days ahead and route you home to get r done

MY FM forgot to tell me....it flashes up n his screen everyday lol. They told me i had a 15 day grace period, but tmc pulled my mvr and found it was invalid. I think the 15 day extension only works for non commercial drivers in pa.

exactly the first thought that hit me. at least have tmc swing another company drive by for the trailer and since it is your truck, drive it to renew.

just read the entire post and it reads to me as if tmc didn't work very hard for you to resolve your issue. may be time to move your lease.
