Tell us what is wrong with per diem.?
1. It eliminates the need to save and track daily expenses.
2. Less tax, more cash....
3. No rip off admin fee at prime, straight up.

Yes what he said!

If I'm a non-smoker, but I like to pack a dip occasionally (very light, maybe one or two a day) should I still request a non-smoking trainer or would this rub them the wrong way? I'd just not do it as it is a luxury and not an addiction if it meant having a non-smoking trainer or not.
-
Make sure you point it out. Some trainers get grossed out over a spit cup
-
Most likely with any tobacco use, you will not be assigned to a non smoker
-
If I remember correctly, you would pocket more cash if they didn't pay it. -
Ehh, I'll just request a non-smoking trainer and ask him if he minds if I dip. If he says yes, works for me, I don't dip. If he says no, I'll ask him if he's sure, and make sure he doesn't mind. TNT seems like the most difficult leg of the journey by far, and staying on the good side of the captain of the ship can only make my life easier.
-
You could end up with a different trainer for TNT as some only do the PSD part of training
-
Either way, if I'm on their truck, being in their good graces is my highest priority after learning.
-
It's more cash in our pocket to have them pay that per diem. Only place it hurts is your DTI ratio if you're applying for a mortgage or car loan. You can't claim that per diehm as income, only gross.
Personally I prefer the extra non taxed cash
