Well at least his truck was speed limited....

Those in Canada should know how lax the sentences are for criminals here. He'll have his licence back in no time.

 

That's depressing.

 

I know. Think about it, though. How many times have you seen the news of someone drinking and driving and killing someone? And it eventually comes out that they've been caught time and time again driving while impaired.

Granted, it is rare to see this in a large truck. There was the incident in Calgary of the cement truck driver who killed five people in a car and got only five and a half years for it. He was found drinking from a vodka bottle at the scene and he claimed he confused it with his water bottle.

Don't know what became of him since his release in June 2013.

 

BAMMIT. I hear about the incidents on CBC, get busy working all my insane out of cell/radio service hours and never hear the outcomes. I'm pretty financially aggressive in my outlook, using the operator's labour as my main point in my arguments and this type of negligence rips that point into bitty shreds. Poop, just poop.

 

Weren't several others seriously hurt, including the tractor trailer immediately to his right in the picture? Just cruising along below the speed limit and the truck next to you is on top in milliseconds.

 

I may be called a racist bass turd but this guy was born to drive a donkey or an ox, not a motor vehicle.

 

Ill bet he's singhin' a sad tune right about now.

 

Before I started doing more cross country runs, those guys never really bothered me and I was alright with them here. However, with all the crap I have seen from them since I started going longer, I'm getting tired of them. Not so much the Sikh drivers, they're not so bad, but I'm having a real hard time not hating the East Indian drivers lately.
