Ok, here goes,
going to get my Class A, then time to find a good company to work for, I want to stay in a physical field ( at least to a point) so im going to go with flatbedding, Im a construction forman for a landscape company so id at least like to stay somewhat active. Ive been looking over the three I know most about, TMC, Maverick, and McElroy. TMC seems to be the best in my choices right now, but everyone says they are so military like and strict (even my school recruiter said this) but i hear others say as long as you do stuff properly then youre ok-so whats the real scoop? Maverick seems like a really good one also, but they use autos and id would really prefer to be shifting my own gears-Any chance they have some manuals in there fleet to drive and how are they to work for? Now on to McElroy, the have a terminal close to me, and my recruiter says they are good, but i hear they dont give you good miles and so forth and are just plain bad to work for-any opinions on anyone of these or all three, let me know all, good or bad
Are there any other good flatbedding companies out there beside these three that are good to work for, with the least amount of BS, I hear Roehl, Prime, and a few others also do flats, any info is appreciated
thanks

There are rules to follow for everything you do in life and TMC is not any worse than the others are. As far as auto shifting you really might like it if you try it.
