Another note - Qualcomm times saved for logs are set by the company and can not be changed by the driver. However there is a time zone setting on the QC unit that can be changed by the driver that affects the date/time shown of incoming/outgoing messages and macros. This should be set to home terminal time zone (same as log time used) and sometimes the guy who installs the unit forgets to change this setting and it can confuse new drivers bout what it going on in terms of times. (I think this setting defaults to Pacific time zone on new installs)

Yes, you can see a quick summary of your clocks by going to "Hours of Service" and clicking on the "Summary" tab.

Wow! Thanks very much! That helps tremendously!8thnote Thanks this. -
I agree that the Logs will be something I'll learn in school. I have to wait 10 more months before I turn 21.
I was more asking, just so I have an understanding of what ya'll are talking about on TTR! -
If you can run a smart device , the q comm is a no brainer , when you switch status it shows the time of the last change and the current time as well as it does the math for you showing how much time has passed since the last entry , the summary bar shows in graph format all clocks except 34 hour reset which is a function of the the main status screen , its so easy even a trukrrrrrrr can do it , don't be so sure that a Dot can do it though and as far as that goes they shouldn't , if u get inspected show them but don't let them operate it , that's your job and they could " edit " and then you may show violation or ???? Best to "approve " daily just easier than scanning through several days worth.

Here is a visual.
The graph of bars clearly shows your last 12 days.
Green is driving time and the width of the circle is your speed.
Yellow rings are where an "incident" (determined by the wise and friendly computer in your truck) was reported to your company. Red rings are extreme braking events. Always your fault.
The blue shriveled sections are time spent off duty wasting away your life on mandated breaks, in docks loading or unloading, or worse, in the dock and nothing is being done!
Mikeeeedouble yellow Thanks this.
