Good to hear it's working out. Dialysis fluid is a pain to unload to a 3rd floor apartment, in a "wonderful" neighborhood - done that one! It's cool they give a phone now, I had to purchase a Nextel when I worked there for dispatches. Did you do a wood floor/wheel well guides in your van? If not I highly recommend it.
Are there any expedite/courier companies you can make decent money at?

Yeah the dailysis fluid is ridiculous. If you ask me I think it's BS they have you lug it up stairs. Does UPS or FedEx deliver your packages inside your house? No, they leave it at the door and call it done. There are guys here with cube trucks who deliver three or four pallets of the stuff at a time to nursing homes, talk about working hard. Driving a big truck OTR is a road trip in comparision.
Yes I did have a wood floor in the van from a previous courier gig I did. You're right it helps a lot. I did think about getting one of those lovely Mercedes-Benz Sprinters to ride in style and actually have air conditioning but there just isn't enough money in this work to justify buying a $40k vehicle.Last edited: Aug 1, 2014

Thanks, I'd have to get another van first as this one can only haul 1,500 lbs and is probably too old for Panther to sign in.
