M.T.I. or Stevens Transport school

    you need to pick the school that works best for you. But as I've said many times...schools don't teach you to drive, they teach you just enough (driving) to get a CDL. They are a CDL School.
    The training company and trainer will teach you how to drive, as well as all the assundry other things you need to know such as how to scale a load, fueling ettiquite at the fuel island, how to handle lumpers fees and so many other things. Stevens will require you to drive thru all quadrants of the country, do mountains, hills, valleys and everything in between.
    I guarantee you Stevens will train you and train you well on how to run mountains...but it isn't done in CDL school.

    Well said, They all to same thing like basic training. The real training starts with a good mentor. Just get license in your pocket, find a good company and pay attention. Learn as you go!
