I'm considering driving for TMC after driving school and I'm wondering how are the freight lanes out the Nashville, Tn area?

We got freght that goes through there. Im at the TA just south of nashville now. Went through nashville earlier today. You should have no problem getting home to Nashville with TMC.
-
Yea you will get real familiar with Cumberland city and Jackson lol... but yes shouldn't have any problems getting home and making good money
-
what about lanes from houston or dallas to northern california?
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Cali, not gonna happen, TMC primarily runs East of I35, they have freight that goes out to cali, but not enough to get you home on a reliable time frame. Far as Houston goes, Im not too sure they have a WHOLE lot down that way, but I think there are some runs

You need a 48 states carrier for those West coast runs; there's plenty of them out there.
Melton Truck Lines
Halvor Lines
System Transport
Central Oregon Truck Company -
Tmc has Texas dedicated. We haul a lot in and out of Houston. Shingles, pipe, coils, stuff like that mainly.

Nashville is good but you'd typically run in that region. You will have to be very specific with your fleet manager that you do not care to be home weekends and then occasional CA and NW runs can be had if you keep asking. I've hauled several loads Laredo to Washington state with them but that was some time ago. They have plenty of freight into and out of Texas.

I start orientation on Sept. 2. What can I expect for freight lanes and home time out of Fayetteville, NC? (Exit 41 off I-95 in NC)

Pretty decent from what I'm told, they have a terminal in Gasten SC. So I would imagine pretty decent in the last
beancounter Thanks this.
