    Only if you let it.

Made a mistake, learned from it, and don't make that mistake any more...

    You assumed wrong.

    Sure you are.

He's here attempting to do damage control, TQL knows their reputation here is in the toilet.

Sorry to hear that you quit the business out of frustration.

I don't cancel loads because something better came along. Just FYI, it's a big reason why I'm successfully doing business currently. I have customers who pay me, and it's not exactly rocket science as to how this is accomplished. I'm a service provider, I provide stellar service. My on time record is impeccable. I don't d**k people around. My services are in demand, and I have no problem getting my rate.

"This confirmation is an agreement between TQL and Carrier to haul the indicated load at the
indicated rate, and is not a dispatch. If load is changed or canceled by TQL, no "truck order not
used" will be paid unless the carrier has been dispatched. Carriers are required to call TQL for
dispatch, which includes pick up number, shipper name/address, and direction information."

Complete ########. TQL will send you a confirmation, but not a dispatch. Happened to me today, dead headed 100 miles to get a load, passed all other offers. Get there, and TQL says "our customer pushed back the load" and we cant pay you anything because you were not dispatched. Bottom line, if you do not get a dispatch email from these guys do not move.

Horrible company. I still like this guys attitude, unfortunately he does not set policy. He knows his company is crap.

I was just going to write about this!!!!!!!! The did this to me when they said the load was cancelled and would not pay TONU because I wasn't dispatched. They are the number 1 slimy broker in the business.

    "dispatched"

Are you considered "dispatched" when they send the carrier/driver instructions?

If not, at what point are you considered "dispatched"?

TQL has come up with a new way. When you get the rate conformation the pickup info is not on there. Until you get that you are not considered dispatched and when the load is cancelled (YA RIGHT) they say they don't have to pay you anything because you were never dispatched.

The way around that, as soon as you send the rate confirmation in, call the broker, and tell them to send you the information, if they refuse, then tell them you are no longer dispatched and are free to accept other loads, but you aren't going to move until you get the information.

They won't do it. They will say they have to get the info and call you back. The last time I agreed to take a load they did that to me when I asked so I went back online and got another load. 4 hours later they called and were BS I wasn't taking the load. They said you signed the rate agreement. I told them, ya, but you never told me where to pick up the load and that was 4 hours ago.

No other broker in this industry does that. I've heard the reason behind this is that they can hold the load on that price, until they can under cut the shipment and get a lower price from another caller and claim it was put off, canceled or something else. I don't know if its true, but it could be.

I still have the rate agreement and you can read to the right what being dispatched means.

Depends on the broker then I suppose, I've had that happen several times and have always gotten the dispatch instructions before the driver moved...
