Conway looking to raise pay rates, layover and benefits?

Anyone recommend good tanker companies? Most want tanker experience. So far have 6 months OTR with Conway truckload.

 

The fact that experienced driver resentment might stem from the fact that Conway has morphed from a once premium carrier to the present "bottom feeder" company that it now is could possibly be the reason why most drivers have left for better opportunities.
That would be a possibility.
Or maybe the reason is the simple fact that Conway just doesn't pay diddly squat. Peanuts. Poverty wages.
Drivers cannot afford to continue working there.
Survival instincts can be a strong motivation, if not a sense of self respect.
It's been said that money isn't everything. Maybe not, but if true, why not just do volunteer work in a homeless shelter?
Money may not be everything; remember those words when the bills are due.

 

Going to expand on this again : started 12/2011 with 6 months exp at .32 Went to .34, .36,.37 .38 and now .40 Making over 55k every year ... With the yearly bonus (1.5 cents ) would be .415 plus haz and northeast pay of .05 when I get up there I am looking to make a change but not due to the $$$ money I'm making but the time way from hope .... I don't think conway is a bottom feeder company but they are a decent starter company as many ex-conway truckload driver do recommend ... And if they are getting a bonus $$ I will sign up for that after I'm gone lol !

 

Ahhh yes...the on line paid blogger bonus....I take a pay cut just to be eligible for that bonus!

 

Gonna do a little "expandin" myself:
Let's see some more posts from other Conway Truckload drivers regarding how well CWTL treats it's employees.
All input would be greatly appreciated, however; good or bad.
Nice to see some fresh insight instead of the same five or six drivers (out of how many drivers? 2000? 2500?).
Especially seeing how everyone else that has been waving that Conway flag proudly over the past year have all.....disappeared. Bailed. Jumped ship.
As in....They quit Conway Truckload!

Mack E-4 I simply adresses Surferjoe constant claim of drivers leaving the company cause of poverty wages ....that they were unhappy, I listed atleast 10 members of TTR that have left but do recommend conway truckload as a good starter OTR company
