Your either NOT reading what was wrote or just unable to comprehend what I wrote? I said SOLO driver cannot make it FROM Anderson in 1 stop! You can ONLY drive 600 miles in 11 hrs before you have to take a rest. So there for you would have to stop! If you done it with TEAM driving you still would not make it in 1 stop. Because after driving 8 hours you HAVE to take a 30 min break BY LAW. WHICH can't be spent behind the wheel. And both you and your TEAM driver will of had to taken 1 each by the time you finish the 1400 Mile strip. If you say yourself that you can drive TEAMS from Anderson, IN too Laredo, TX then you are one of two things. Either a LIAR or talking about DRIVING ILLEGALLY! Which one Sir ? But even doing it ILLEGALLY you would still have to stop in order to change drivers am I right ? So His 8 hr stop along with stopping to change out drivers would be 2 for sureSo doing it all Legally your looking at at least 4 stops down actually
2 stops for both of your 30 min breaks and 2 stops for changing drivers
So 1 STOP IS NO WAY!

Anderson In. to Laredo,Texas is 1,372 miles.
A driver would have to average 62.3 miles per hour.
It is doable with one break if the run goes perfect.
I caution you Hoppy about being so confident about what is doable and not doable.
This run is doable. I would do it in a heartbeat with one break. -
You did not quote anyone , who are you talking to ?

i was just curious as to how long it took as a solo driver , seems to be some misunderstanding here.
I just thought that trip might be something for a new driver to do for awhile why getting familiar with the truck and not traveling all over. Maybe a good idea, heck I don't know I ain't no trucker lol. -
I wouldn't caution anyone because your obviously wrong! If you drive for 8 hours YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR 30 min break and it cant be behind the wheel. So whats that ? 1 STOP, then you have to STOP AGAIN TO CHANGE OUT TO YOUR TEAM DRIVER that's TWO STOPS.. So Mr. Smart Guy blow smoke somewhere else. YOUR AN IDIOT IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT IN 1 STOP!
SO YOUR WRONG! -
I replied to the other guy saying it could be done. No clue why it didnt put it in there.

Your one of those old school drivers who lie on there books so they can make a run. It's obvious your wrong according to the DOT Laws.
This is why I take what a Old School trucker's says with a grain of salt, its also the reason why DOT are coming down so hard on truckers. Because Old School truckers are always lieing in there log books. -
I was calling a stop your 10 hour break.
If you want to count 30 min. breaks, rest room breaks, eating, ect. You can have lots of stops and still do it.
I still caution your confidence. One of these days you may have enough experience to match your confidence. -
After 8 hrs you have to take a 30 min break right ? And after 10-11 hrs you change drivers right ? So if both drivers have to take there MANDATORY 30 min break and NOT behind the wheel then that's 2 STOPS right ? And if they have to change up twice before they make the trip that's 2 STOPS AGAIN right ? So then there is NO WAY you can make the trip in 1 stop... RIGHT ? I don't mind if I am wrong but I just finished trucking school and I am in training now and I know the DOT Laws pretty good now. So If I am wrong I am willing to eat my words. So tell me am I wrong ?
I mean heck if both drivers are doing great and able to drive an awesome 650 miles each that's still ONLY 1300 Miles still shy of what you need to make it there so your going to have to change back to the first driver again right ? So really your looking at a bare minimum of 4 stops right ? 3 Stops if you wanted to do it Illegally..lol -
I have never been sited for a log book violation in over 25 yrs of driving.
I do not understand your hostility.
You could learn a lot from an old school driver like me.
The DOT are just doing their jobs. Has nothing to do with old school drivers.
They stop and check on the mega carrier rookie drivers just as they do us old school drivers. -
I am not hostile, I just want to make sure I am giving someone the correct information before doing so. And I was confident I was telling the truth but when you said what you did it has me questioning myself now. If I am missing a Law I didn't take in hand or if I am adding something etc ? Was I wrong ? I know I am a rookie but even Rookie's can know the law better. I don't have the experience you may have but I have maybe more knowledge of the laws than you do so to speak. So really we could learn from each other is how I see it.
