    Do your OTR time then check into fuel hauling. There are several companies in the Chattanooga area that may look at you with 6 months experience or more. You will be home every day and make similar money. Normally between $150-$200/day to start. Here are a few companies to consider in that area: Eagle Transport, Florida Rock and Tank Lines, United, Spirit Express, Pilot/Flying J....there are probably a few more than that, but those are some off the top of my head.
