I started with Shaffer/Crete out of school. Won't find better money for a new, but that said alot of their asset managers are jerks and treat u like crap. Mine did along with night dispatch. I left there for personal reasons but could do a lot worse.

If you like Schneider's Choice Program, then go with Schneider Bulk. There's good money in tankers.

You're in the hiring area for Tyson Foods also. Good money, benefits, and equipment. Trucks governed @70mph.

System Transport is another good flatbed company.

Halvor Lines hires new CDL grads & offers van, reefer, flatbed.

James H. Clark isn't a nationally recognized company, but they do have a very good reputation and are picky about the drivers they hire.

Do your research before signing on. It's not just about the big companies, there's little midsize companies that are willing to hire you if you look hard.

I would highly recommend SAGE. They have given me the knowledge and instruction as well as the 1 on 1 driving "SEAT" time to attain my CDL license. Now I take my state exam this Monday, but I feel I should pass this easily. I actually have a small thread in trucking schools page on this forum if that may help. There were 4 students, 1 had to leave after 1st day. So 3 completed, 1 was the 8 drive program and myself and another student had the 11 drive program. The 8 drive program student attained their CDL this past Friday. The other student and myself test Monday.

Thanks, would recommend this school to anyone. While they cannot train everyone to be successful, they will give you everything you need, and it is up to the student to either apply that and succeed in attaining their CDL or not and if not, then it isn't the school's fault... they cannot take the test for you.. LOL.
