Lucky only went about 50 ft before it dawned on me.
As one other guy said look at other flatbeds for ideas but be cautious as there are a bunch of lazy ones.
Seen one yesterday full trailer lengh steel and 4 straps not a wise choice. more proper securement the better does no good if not placed right had a load a few weeks ago I had 32 straps on and was still looking for more.street beater Thanks this. -

Sounds like he's well prepared. Unless you're just running junk with the junk companies that's what it takes to properly secure loads.tsavory Thanks this. -
So now I carry 32 nope wait 34 bought 2 more 2" when I got home.
Point being never can be to safe but can be unsafe
I also carry a dozen tennis balls, a few pool noddles, a bunch of carpet pieces, and only 6 chains and binders for now but that will change going to add atleast 2 more chains and biders. -

At the end of training you will feel good because that trainer is sitting next to you. But when that Qualcomm beeps for the first time in your truck yeah, you're going to get nervous. We all have been there. Before long you will cussing at the thing to start beeping because you want a load! I liked flatbedding, most of the time it's common sense and not being lazy. You will be okay. When you decide that you want to make more money with way less work make the move to tanker, I did and I'm not looking back.
