thinking of driving for adams then leasing on if my son buys a truck... got to go back to work to avoid having a 2 yr break on my record ( ins co's have a problem with that, like you forget how to drive after 2 million mi plus).. any info good or bad would help.... please don't use this thread to bash the company.... if you have criticism of them state the problem and why you disagree... try to keep it professional.... thanks in advance for the input..

I talked with the recruiter today. I sure would be interested in hearing from any current or former drivers.
I have searched this forum and others trying to find out about them, but there is very little or more accurately no info on them.
They are a smaller flatbed carrier, about 50 company trucks and 25 owners.

I Know the Houston terminal manager well, used to be my dispatcher at another company.

From talking with him about the company, it seems they have a good operation. Is family owned and they keep it small.
Pay seems about average, company equipment seems to be well maintained. They run a lot of pipe.

Have talked to a few drivers, most have nothing bad to say.

They are very selective about drivers and lease operators.

I decided to go with a different company due to where I live. They just don't run there.
