Wont be much longer ill be off the hook and back on the road. Had a major setback KW misdiagnosed my mech problem said i had a clutch problem. So i bought a new clutch. 350 mi later the rearend goes out 3000.00 spent that didnt need to be spent.
long story short rearend is junk i bought an extended warranty on it 2 months back its covered but i been laid up in a hotel walls are closing in on me. all in all i got 4000.00 in parts towing hotel meal expenses in a week. and 400 in maint to pay the bill. Fortunatly i hoard money for a living so i got it covered . Now it time to hit the road do it all over again and recoup. Donations accepted.

No lease is perfect. always prepare for the worse.
2 weeks ago truck drove great, then 1 day something sounded funny and it never went away.
I knew obviously it was cheaper to find the problem and fix it. but never could pin point the issue bills gotta be paid so we took a load . Well we didnt go far , before i knew it i was on the hook. Next time ill swing by the house to KW been nice to of been sittn at the house for repairs. I had just left 4 days before she broke but thats the way it goes.HomeTownHauler Thanks this. -
It's things like that, that kill many,if not most lease/purchase drivers.... i worked with a guy that had 7 kids to feed. A rear end breakdown cleaned out his emergency fund out, then a couple weeks later his motor blew before he was on his feet, and he had to play catch up for over a year.

If you think your gonna get rich on a lease NOT. But you can make it if you budget your income based on Company Driver Pay. The reward is completing the Lease and the satification of owning the truck. Sacrifices must be made to achieve that goal but its worth it.
These are YTD numbers January to August. Everybodys numbers are gonna be different . Truck breakdowns personnal expenses how you manage your lease are all to be taken into consideration based on a individual bases . These are MY numbers based on a 1st time lease .
Looking back on my P&L from pervious yrs the numbers run pretty consistant . So there you go.
