Man, I can not stand van work. I'll lose my mind. I've been doing flat/step/rgn for the past few years. I don't want huge loads, I just want to haul a wide variety I guess.

I hear ya. I spent 10 years pulling vans and reefers. I wanted something different. We have a wide variety of loads.

Spent all day getting a pete 389 loaded on a rgn at the tulsa yard. A mech couldnt get the stacks off. He had to cut the bands off. Im taking it to st cloud yard.

What kind of home time y'all see?

We can take off when ever we want. I like to stay out 3-4 weeks then home for few days.

I been looking hard at ats but i can't get my wife to give up on my home every weekend lol i have talked to a few guys who say freight works out for them to be home weekends but most guys say several weeks to pay the bills. I make 40k now and home every Friday!

Yeah my last company said we had wknds off. We usually get back fri then leave back out sun morning. I consider sun part of the wknd. I didnt like only having 1 day off aweek so i came back to otr.true blue Thanks this.

They offered me about 5 preplans 4 going east with bunch of multi stops. Paid good but didnt want to go east since im still trying to go home to get my stuff. The other was 1 stop to madison wi. But it was gone by the time i got pulled over. So i was gonna put truck in shop to get my seat fixed. Have to air it back up about every 15 miles. Then hr later i get another preplan offer to deadhead to valley ne to get 4 poles going to rio grande city tx for wed. Taking me home and paying over $1.90 per mile to the truck including the 360 mile deadhead.
AZS Thanks this.
