the radio has to be set for aux mode. when people call. it interrupts the music being played from your phone if you are playing music on your phone.

the phone sits 3 feet from my mouth. no one has complained yet. all say it sounds just as good.

the only real problem, is when your listening to the radio. and someone calls. you have to touch the answer button on your phone. and flip your radio to aux source.

no one calls me much so it's not really an issue for me.

if i were to yack all day long, i'd probably look at the above mentioned options.

Think an audio splitter would work so one could keep using their mp3 player?

yep, but then you've got to turn the thing off so it's not over riding your phone conversation.

at one point and time, i had 3 things tied into the aux port. cell phone, gps, can't remember the 3rd right off hand.

only problem, is wires don't last long. so you don't want too many wires.
