That was the first time I have EVER read something so descriptive.Snowshoes Thanks this. -
considering the "size" of some of these cashiers (specifically thinking of a couple at the Pilot in Denver), I don't think the showers are big enough, might require use of the truck wash

The other morning, guess it was about 2am, I stopped at the Pilot in Denver to grab a bite from Wendy's. They have 10 fuel lanes, only the first two were occupied, so I pulled through the very last lane and parked to run it (parking at the best of times is at a premium there). As I came back out, not even 3 minutes, Security was getting ready to page me. I pointed out to him, that it was 2 am, all lanes were open and empty, and that I was in there less than 5 minutes. Hell, he saw me walk into Wendy's. He brought up people doing this, I acknowledged it wrong, but then he agreed that it was 2 am, they weren't busy, and at least I took the very last lane and pulled all the way through.

how about park first, then go in for your fuel reciept and shower ?fireba11 Thanks this.

depends on the situation, I pay with a credit card, if I did that, they would think that I was driving off (even though they still have my card), or that something might be up with the card. I've gone in to pay, get a shower number, then gone and parked though.

You usually have 15 minutes get into the pin activation ones before it kicks you out.

I'm sorry that "later-dude" had to live through that but his tale was hilarious!tangerineGT Thanks this.

Hey, if they are gonna call themselves "LOVES" then they need to measure up to it!

That's why they have those buckets that already have water in them, at the fuel island. Saves time that way. . .
striker Thanks this.
