Yeah you pay it all. Don't know about the transfer.
The endorsements are $3 per YEAR for the license period so it's around $18 each, not 3 lol welcome to nc. If I remember correctly my initial license ( not permit ) with no tank or haz was $150. I could go back and find the paperwork but too lazy I'm on home time lol
the test itself is a piece of cake. Study the book, do a few of the online practice tests, and you'll be fine.
If possible, call ahead and make an appointment with the dmv office you're planning to go to. If you dont/can't plan on hurry up and wait and spending several hours there. They're all horribly understaffed. Don't go between 11am - 2pm as that's when they rotate lunch breaks and they're even less staffed.
i just spent 3.5hrs in the high point office for nothing more than to register my new medical. -
Hmm I got my cdl permit in New York im hoping it transfers...

I don't know anything about prime as I never would have considered a company like that but why do you have to transfer your permit to Mo if you're an nc resident? Aren't you ultimately going to have to transfer it back here and be licensed in your home state?
-
that what im confused about read some where on here that you have to transfer to MO and when you get your CDL you have to transfer it back to your home state
-
That just sounds like a waste of time and money and don't really see where it would be legal either but now I think about it I do remember seeing something said about it before with this company and a few others. Living in nc there are much better choices than prime unless you have something in your background or driving record that would preclude you from going with some of the nc based companies. Some of them even have you home weekly and making better money.

im doing cause
1 dont have CDL
2. Dont have money
3. Hate my job im doing now
4. Very clean record not even a parking ticket -
Too bad you can't front the cost for the nc community college program. There are some really good companies out of nc that like to hire their students. At least once you do get through the training and can get a solid year in with prime you have plenty of options living here to move up to something better. Much better.
Good of luck to you.Nic99 Thanks this.
