    Back in 2010-2012 Pipe loads were paying serious $$$ especially in winter time, no twic card necessarily, 4 foot pipe stake was fine and loading was quick. Now the pipe game has changed, ill say Their too many folks doing pipe load for what they consider "good pay". Same thing happen with loads heading to the valley from the mid west.

    I dunno. $4.00 a mile is pretty good in my book. If I can average $2.00 for all miles I'm doing pretty darn good so that's more then enough to deliver and dead head back out for another if I wanted. I did end of dead heading to Minneapolis, MN. All the places I deliver up there are not into the oil fields. They are right in town at a trucking/pipe company. They end up stocking up on lots of pipe then sell to the oil company's and deliver when needed.
