Conan--Most boards are relaxed and a place to just communicate and chill. There is no reason to berate someone.
What I don't like more than hard to read posts (Which by the way I could read the post just fine), is when people have to spout off about things that have nothing to do with the subject at hand.
I think the bigger picture here is that it does not matter if you have a PHd. I know and live with people with multiple degrees including MD, PHd, MPH etc... and some of them have the common sense of a squirrel. You should really try and work on your social skills and your manners.
Please go ahead and bash me and my grammar since it apparently makes you feel superior. Maybe you can even list these posts on your CV as publications.
Back on subject, PTL sounds 50/50 so far based on the two posts on topic since it was hijacked by the Doc.
Stay safe everyone.

Ok everyone, you're right. I apologize. Didn't mean to spout off, unfortunately it all just rubbed me wrong at the wrong time. While I am under a load Finally, I have been having some frustrations with my current company which all kind of came to a boiling point today, hence the posts. I have been shopping around for some time now for a new company. Looking at Freymiller and BFL to name a few. Gonna stay away from the mega carriers and get away from this one, Knight Trans...Lots of sitting and trailer hunting..it's ridiculous

Yea its hard to take a post serious when its one giant sentence-paragraph with bad font size
-
In your case, no arguement. -
Thanks Conan. That is what I like to see. We all have a bad day. Thank you for coming back and correcting/explaining your actions.
Good luck on your choices!

Kudos to Conan! I know I hate like bejubers to apologize when I'm technically correct (and even if I fall into the same group I'm complaining about - on occasion). Good on you, Conan!
Conan - I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to grammar and spelling, myself. However, rather than try to fix it all, I realize that a board such as this is conversational English, not professional. There's a big difference, in my book.
Journalists should practice professional English. Truckers writing to their companies, lawyers, congrescritters, and so on, should use professional English.
On the other hand, anybody, BS-ing back and forth in an informal climate can blather in any manner they chose
If it's too hard for me to understand, I typically either ignore the post entirely, or read answering posts. 9 times of of 100, the answering posts will clear up the story for me and allow me to spout off with my own stupid opinions
Again, though, good on you for the apology! -
Trust me when I say "it ain't like me to straddle a fence" on any issue, but on this one I do have to agree with both sides.
Spellin' ain't that difficult!
But it is a waste of time to try to point it out... -
isn't PTL all automatics?
-
Hey Roadmedic sounds like he is thinking he is the only collage Ed.truckin BOY out there probaly drives for a company that pays him a big bonus for being so smart.Bet he doesnt hang around truck stops telling the truckers how stupid and dumb they are if he does his typing mite be pretty bad.Hard to type with all those broken bones.

Maybe it's just me, I don't know. But I've noticed in the short time I've been here, that many of the post's that Conan is talking about, the ones that ramble, with mis-spellings, poor grammar, and such, are from drivers who've not been happy anywhere they go to work. They have complaints about most every place they've worked. Someone, or something, made them quit every time.
Coincidence?
