I just activated the traffic anywhere on my 720. When I turn the feature on it causes my unit to freeze up a lot. Any help on this issue?

About the address book, I think I don't like the fact that when I put an entry into a group it also stays in the "All" tab. I say there should be another tab. A tab that excludes the group entries. And with that the "All" tab should not be the default opened tab.

Putting entries into a group has 2 reasons. One so you can quickly search through a finite list and 2nd is so that the main list is not so long that it takes forever to browse for an entries not numerous enough to be in groups.

A list that includes ALL entries is a good idea but not the way it's set up without a list tab that excludes the group entries.

    The order should be

Exclude list(default open) / Groups / All / and then trails.

What do you think? ...I'm just starting to play with this groups and address book and these are the things that are making me fumble daily as I fill in my book.

PS and the quick picks on the left by abc's don't help much either. I mean it's better than nothing but we still need that 3rd tab.

That is a tricky one.. If in the Map Data it shows the restriction(s) then yes. Do be aware that states like CO have preferred HazMat routing. You can Google it for the map. It is not on the TND maps as HERE does not support the preferred HazMat routing. It has been mentioned before.

    Thanks,
    mark

Have you tried weather or fuel on route? Get back to me on this one.

    Thanks,

Well there is light at the end of the tunnel. On the All tab, a search feature was added. You should see it on the next version... and I don't have a release date for that or the maps yet.

In the search feature it is a type of "fuzzy" search. You put in like "trg" and it will look in all parts of each record for "trg". The less you put in the more entries you will have.

21 Aug - the TND 530/730 were released to the public. New design. In some of my bench testing on a 2800 mile route the 530/730 are about 3-4 times faster than the 520/720 due to new hardware.

The 730 is a little smaller height wise now. Same screen. Power on the right side again.

The mount does have two clips to hold the cable. The 530/730 use the same bracket now also.
