I've read on the predator 10 k antenna site, the guy who builds these antennas recommends a lug mount also to be used with all these antennas ' just wondering what type of lug mounts are you drivers using , so Basically i need a bird perch 2 bar , an antenna mount a lug mount and the Antenna and cable with antenna connectors. I've seen some kind of combo kits for sale not sure if there fairly decent quality .

I wouldn't mount anything that someone would want to steal so close to the ground. Make them climb on the truck to get to it.

This site has everything you need. Antenna's lug mounts coax.

Once I get my antenna set up I will dismount it when I sleep it stays in the cab , they could very easily walk after paying $100.00 or more I would be pissed to wake up and see it's been stole by some low life I'm sure you can buy a weather cap for the plug ,

I have a 12 Cascadia pulling dry van and am just running a single predator 10k with the 9" shaft on a merror mount bolted to the bar on the back of the sleeper... The tip sticks up about 6" over the trailer and I checked it with my dosy swr meter 1.2 my radio shack meter 1.2 and my workmen didn't even move (not that I really trust it anyway)... I have a Uniden 980 and a couple weeks ago rolling up I-75 almost to Dayton OH talking to a guy on 37lsb in Shreveport LA with that bone stock radio lol.. Normally I get out somewhere around 5-10 miles on am.... which ant that bad at all I don't think running up and down 71 between Louisville and Cincinnati

can't say I blame ya..
Its a shame it has come to this, never used to be this way.. -
On the bright side, thieves won't know the difference between a $20 antenna and a $200 antenna in a few more years.
The way cb usage has plummeted, people will probably start assuming those antennas are for the stereo. -
Until Predator makes an antenna with at least a 42 inch shaft, I wouldn't recommend one of their antennas for the Cascadia. A 9 foot whip will outperform the Predator many times for that application.
Homemade antennas are the way to go for that truck to get the load over the roof.
