And I have all of those documents. So do I just offer to send them or wait til it comes up or how should I address this?

Tell them straight up....those are the documents you have, and they will tell you which ones they need. DO NOT send originals. If possible, scan and e-mail in PDF file, or fax them. If you have to make copies, then send the copies. ALWAYS keep the originals.

Well, one thing i had a friend do (apparently alot of companies are ok with this) get 3 people to write on 3 separate sheets that they know you, and they know you were unemployed do to being the main caretaker of your young child/children (how ever you want it worded is up to you)... Have them sign it and include their phone number.... badabing you have legal proof of your prior work history...
oh and have them include some dates like the date you need covered (not working) to the current date .... this is how most companies cover large gaps in employment. -
My understanding (from researching this a few years ago on this site) is that the reason for this is just so they know they you haven't been driving and lost your license in another state and/or changed your name or whatever - it's not about having a job. So they want to see a W2 for the last 3 years because it's proof you were doing what you say you were.
From what I recall it's an insurance thing and if you can produce the letters from 3 people who can vouch for what you were doing those 3 years they really don't care if you were working or not - they just want to know you weren't driving. At least that's what I got out of it. -
I have multiple people that can vouch for what ive done. some of those are agencies that work with my daughter. I have a clean driving record no criminal history and no drugs I emailed my recruiter to ask if this would be alright waiting to hear back.

the only thing required on an employment app is your past work history going back 10 years and you need to explain any gap in employment, if you were a care taker for a family member or on vacation or just did not work put it down and a short explanation ,,as mentioned above your personal references will be enough,,don't sweat it,, just be 100% honest,,
-
I've never heard of the seven year work history or been asked for it, just the three year requirement. At least that I can remember.
-
all they really care about is that you were not overseas training in Afghanistan
a letter that you were at home should suffice -
Submit the paperwork, along with the 2 letters of recommendation, and take it from there.
Good luck to you! -
All you have to do is write a letter that says, "(your name) was not employed in a D.O.T. regulated industry from (start date) to (end date). And get it notorized with witness if they want that. Shouldn't be a problem.
