I know you're missing out on lucrative freight by having the feature turned off where the broker can see if you clicked on their load. Some of the most lucrative hauls I ever booked were from "fishing expeditions" where all I did was click on the loads I desired and wait for that phone to ring. I've had them call within 10 seconds. It's a good clue they're in a bind. Granted, they're not always keen to pay a high rate. But if the feature is off you'll never know what you've missed. Think of it as taking the ball out of their court and putting it in yours. You always want them calling you, not the other way around.

That's a good one...one thing I've learned from reading this forum is to get a good feel for when the broker needs you more than you need them. And to try and put yourself in those situations as often as possible.
rollin coal Thanks this. -
I agree with rollin coal but there are many times I'm in a great area for flatbed freight like Huger, SC or Hubbard, OH and I want to click on a ton of loads but don't want them calling. I've told ITS to make that a feature we can turn on and off with a click instead of having to call or send an email.

Criticism aside, there are some good agents at TQL -- I just wish the good ones had access to every TQL load instead of all these disjointed fiefdoms.

TmGM and double yellow Thank this.

I'm down here in Jackson, MS and many brokers including TQL had the same load listed. I had my stealth mode in The Internet Truckstop turned off so a broker knew if I clicked on a load. I booked the load with PLS for $4,400. I then clicked on the same load with TQL and sure as heck they called. They said the load paid $3,800. Told them I couldn't do it for that. They asked how much. I said I needed $4,400. They said the customer doesn't even have that much into the load. I said, that's funny, I just booked the load with PLS for that. He hung up on me!
