They probably tell you that so you don't have extra charges riding a bus.

guess I don't know how much space a mans stuff takes up...but I guess my drawers are smaller so I shouldn't feel bad my shower bag might be a bit larger than a mans cause I need a few more products!

Not to be choppy...but NO bus for me. Went locally so there is no travel involved on that part....if it didn't work with trainer and I got put out... There are way too many options to step foot on a bus..(I.e. family and friends - planes trains and rental cars)!!

It is when the trainees are REALLY GETTING SCREWED and the trainer is getting paid miles 24/7.

In addition to what semi retired semi driver said in #17, my phase one training lasted almost exactly one month and we kept rolling all over the lower 48 on pretty much a 24/7 basis... and the trainer didn't do squat. Phase 2 lasted longer but that's when I actually learned how to do more than just turn a steering wheel. CRE had the Phase 1 and Phase 2 system, but I'm not sure how many other companies have similar programs.

Back when I was a trainer, phase 1 started with the student or me driving, but both were up and awake for the first 2 weeks, as the time progressed the student would end up driving full shift.

Phase 2 was pretty much teaming, but going over students questions t the end of the driving shift.

You ave to remember this is a business, wheels have to roll, lads get delivered on time, safe and legal, lesson 1.
