Duffle bags, space, and a lady

Not according to the reports I get from former students. Maybe because students from our school are already good drivers when they arrive at Werner and they are taken advantage of.

 

OK I thought it was actually a real part of training - phase one: you study for your written test. I keep hearing the words phase one and training in the same sentence with company drivers which goes to my point - how do they train someone who already has their license?

Well I apologize to the OP for this tangent.

 

You teach them how to actually run the truck rather then how to pass a test.

Things like dealing with shipper/receivers.
Handle paperwork.
Trip planning.
Be there when the student has questions.

Not a lot of training schools actually seem to teach that stuff. Or its just a short lesson.

 

yes it, and thus you, will be fine considering the disclaimer declaring that you will not look as if you are relocating. you are probably carrying much less than some of the "male",used loosely,drivers that i have seen rolling a wheeled suitcase into the truck stop for a shower.

One of the great things about TTR. You get to live the OTR life style through the drivers here and not have to be one. 

 

Hopefully that means that he will be of a high class and very good at teaching and knowing different styles so you will get the best out of the experience. Have you gotten to talk to him much yet to just find out what he feels you should bring a long?
