I am willing to buy 20-30 tires at a time if I can get a good deal.
-
Maybe where you live and haul it's not but I guarantee you it's a dam good tire in the snow and ice up north.
-
I meant for fuel economy.
-
Fuel economy doesn't mean anything upside down in an icy ditch.
-
What I do fuel economy is not the issue, getting stuck on some remote location is the issue.
You need the right tire for the application. -
Accidents destroy property and leave family's for the state to support. Let's go ahead and start a campaign to get those demons off the road at once! Better yet, let you and I form an insurance company and charge higher premiums for fuel efficient tires. We will make a lot of money and do a lot of good for mankind.
-
Maybe you should call all the manufacturers and let them know they only need to produce one fuel efficient tire in each size as you know best! You might have an OTR cpm CREngland tire need, where others have a regional, local, off road, etc type of need, where fuel mileage is the least of there concerns. I run more fuel efficient tires, but that is because my application allows it. The guy that parks next to me with a sand dump has much different needs.

I would check with some of the bigger dealers like TCI and such and let them know your looking to make a bulk purchase. Buying the tires in a non sales tax state for motor carriers can be a big discount by itself if you're currently paying sales tax. I'll never buy another tire in FL that I don't have to again as that adds 6%+ to the price.

Unless you don't go home for 6+ months at a time, you still owe that 6% "sales and use" tax.
