My guess is that this is what it is all about. She is probably known to be looking "for somebody to sue." The company is just playing the CYA game.

Now the question is, why would you as a driver give a security guard a card to a website?

 

I've loaded at Blue Bunny many times. I've never once been required nor felt compelled to give any of the guards a business card (and I can't figure out what business purpose this would serve in any event since guards don't assign loads) let alone one with a URL to sexually explicit stories. Instead, I present myself professionally and stick to work related conversations. They reward me every time with a thank you and free ice cream. In sexually repressed America you're just going to have to keep personal stuff personal and work professional if you want to be invited back for that next load.

I can see it happening. I try to be friendly with everybody. If I'm hanging around waiting on this or that, I'll probably strike up a conversation with anybody too slow to get away.

I can, therefore, easily see giving somebody a web address. If the conversation was about writing, I can certainly see giving somebody the web address to the site where my stories are. That's why I never asked that question, but jumped, instead, to 'was she aware that some of the material is explicit" etc.
If she was, she has absolutely *no* complaint, and BB should be made aware of all the facts.

It probably won't make any significant difference to the OP - I doubt they'd rescind the ban, but it may cause them to look askance at their guard.

Too bad you can't sue people for being a whiny ##### B****.

 

The question still is, was she aware that she may run into adults only stuff BEFORE she went to the web site?

And I'd STILL write to the company and provide your side of the story, in as much detail as possible. As I said, it probably won't help you any, but it may cause them to take a second look at that guard.

 

Have testified @ 2 EEOC hearings, both of a sexual complaint. This I know for sure. If you ask a fellow co worker to have sex with you and she say's no, that IS NOT a violation of any law. If you ask her a second time, then that is considered sexual harassment. By asking that question a second time, that is the trigger that takes it from legal to not legal. Just one of many decisions passed down by the courts concerning this problem.
