All I have is what the shop mechanic told me. Which is nothing because he's no longer working there. Not since Evans got bought out by Celedon. It wasn't my idea to have them pay to begin with. And how did I not do a proper pre-trip? I looked the truck over inside and out, did the air pressure test, and went on my way. How is it my fault that a valve decided to take a crap? And what was I supposed to do? There was no warning. The air pressure didn't drop, the parking brake didn't pop out until I pulled it, nothing. All that happened was the pedal went to the floor and I wasn't slowing down. There was a rock wall to my right, a mini van to my left, and a stopped TruckPRO van in front of me stopped at a stop light. I've never been in an emergency situation like that before, so IF that ever happens again, I'd like to know what to do.
