At MHC in KC they're asking about $62k.

Yeah, that's WAY to much for a stripped down fleet truck with that engine in it.

I figured it could get talked down. But I want an earlier cat or a cummins. So yeah. I like how the trucks are set up with running gear though. 13 with 3:36 rears.

They will do anything to get rid of these trucks. Don't let them lie to you. Don't believe a single thing they say about the engines.

From my research, look at trucks pre 2007 or post 2010.....1999-2003 seems to be the sweet spot....

Op, Midwest is also selling the earlier Cummins motors. 2010 IIRC.
You could always give them a call and ask them.

I'm an old dyed in the wool Cat man, and all I can say is RUN FORREST RUN. Some of the AZZHURTS were bad enough, but when you look at the right side of an engine and can't hardly see the block for the wiring and tubing, it's time to regroup.

Yeah.. as soon as I read "2009" and "Cat" together in the OP's first post, the rest of this thread was a bit on the predictable side.
