I don't know the particulars of your state, see if they have some sort of program similar to what Kentucky has called a Spend Down card. Yeah, you are liable to get a big bill if you have to have surgery. But, it allows you to make smaller Payments for it, rather than having a $10,000 bill due immediately.

No you don't. I've seen a handful of one handed drivers, and they all drove manual trucks just like everyone else.

Most drivers that pass me have one hand on the wheel and the smart phone in the other. Must not need both hands

Ive seen truckers that are 500lbs ones that can barely walk i can use it pain is nothing to me.
