    already put up apps for ABF and YRC and waiting with hope
    About upsf ...as long as they pay me good in return ,I'm cool with that;..but don't have a year yet...so hopefully ABF will finely give me a call after 2 apps,one for line haull and another for P&D

    I would be aware if you try directly with yrc you probally will be a casual which essentially means you will kind of work the dock and sometimes drive your hours may be a little all over the place but if your young it may be a good idea thats if yrc keeps there crap together benifits are that good pay good insurance and most of all a pension because this day and age who knows what the stock market will do its like putting money into a slot machine. orked for fed ex and od not upsf but gennerally they want at least 5 because they are kind of like the pinnacle and most vetran drivers like myself is who you would be competing with for a job

    Actually I am looking to apply for holland but they are part of yrc and I hope they are at least stable now and busy enough I dont have to wory about being laid off I have put a lot of years into my present company and a little nervous about that but anyways good luck

    Top rate T current contract will be about 28 a hour. Takes 4 working years to get there. They start you at 15 a hour till off probation then 17 a hour. I ram the road for them and I hit my 14th everyday and on Fridays they'd have this two hour delay and would ruin my Saturday since I wouldn't get off till 11 or noon

    Con-way will take you with less than a year. Its very mismanaged and I'm not sure if I'd recommend it. I don't know how other freight companies work but there is a lot of BS that you have to put up with. At least in KC we damage a lot of freight and miss a lot of appointments. The thing I like about them is you don't have to lose seniority to go from P&D to line haul. You can bid one one year then the other the next and you keep you're spot on the seniority list. So you can do P&D for 10 years until you get enough seniority to hold a decent line haul bid.
